Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Elections in India 2015

Assembly elections in India 2015 have been regarded as one of the most important political events in the country since the NDA Government acquired the seat of power at the Centre. The Vidhan Sabha elections in India 2014 were a significant victory for PM Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party. The BJP rode on the strong “Modi Wave” that swept across the Congress ruled States of Maharashtra and Haryana, where the Assembly elections campaigns were driven by PM Narendra Modi himself. The Vidhan Sabha elections in India 2015 will be as prominent as the previous year as the major politically volatile States of Delhi and Bihar will stand witness to their Assembly elections. Delhi Assembly 2015 are being contested by the national parties of BJP, AAP as well as the INC. With a strong competition expected between Arvind Kejriwal and PM Narendra Modi, the end of Presidential rule in Delhi will finally give way to the anticipated Delhi Vidhan Sabha elections in 2015. BJP wishes to continue its winning streak after the Lok Sabha elections by securing every State in the country. The BJP wishes to color the State in Saffron this year as Bihar anticipates strong campaigning for Assembly elections this year.
