Karnataka Elections
Karnataka is a state that is situated in the southern part of India. It was established in 1956 and people celebrate the establishment day known as Rajyotsav with great celebrations. The official language of the state is Kannada. The main political parties that are participating in the elections are Bharatiya Janta Party, Indian national Congress and Janta Dal.
Administration Process
The state of Karnataka has bicameral Legislature made up of Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council. The administration of the state is carried out by chief minister and his council of ministers. The governor of the state is appointed by the President of India. The responsibility to maintain law and order is under the IPS officer of the state.
