When we talk about Kerala politics, the major two parties in Kerala are left Democratic Front (LDF) and united Democratic Front (UDF). The political parties in Kerala are:

Administration Process
Kerala has a unicameral Legislature with only Legislative Assembly containing 141 seats. The state has a Governor appointed by the President of India and his term consists of five years. The administration of the state is carried out by the Chief minister and his council of ministers. The capital of the state is Thiruvananthapuram. The High court is the apex court of the state.
