Parliamentary Constituencies of Mizoram

There is only one parliamentary constituency in Mizoram which is also called Mizoram. It is reserved for ST candidates.

The total number of voters in the state comes out to be 6,96,448. In this, about 34.68% are first time voters. There are 1,125 polling stations in Mizoram.

The total population of Mizoram as per 2011 Census is 1,097,206 in which about 555,339 are men and 541,867 are women. Mizoram has a literacy rate of 91.33% which makes it one of the most literate states in India. The gender ratio had risen from the previous record which is 976 females per 1000 males.
