Parliamentary constituencies of Tripura
There are two parliamentary constituencies in Tripura – Tripura West and Tripura East. The Tripura East constituency is reserved for the candidates of Scheduled Tribe class. There are 23,79,541 voters in the state and out of that 1,21,114 voters are in the age group of 18-19 years.
According to the census of 2011, the population of Tripura is 36,73,916. There are 950 females per 1000 males and the literacy rate of the state is 87.22%. About 4.03% population of the state consist of first time voters.
