Bhusawal Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency

A city in the district of Jalgaon in Maharashtra, Bhusawal is located on the bank of Tapi River. The city is well known for cultivation of banana. As of 2011 India census Bhusawal had a total population of 359,461. The Bhusawal assembly constituency is a part of parliamentary constituency of Raver. The seat of MLA has been possessed by NCP since the year 2004, by the NCP candidate Savkare Sanjay Waman who won the assembly elections in 2009. Waman was victorious against Rajesh Dhanaji Zalte of SHS. While Waman secured 61875 votes, Zalte secured only 57972 votes in the assembly elections of 2009.
