Jamner is a town situated in Jalgaon district which is famous for oranges, cotton and bananas. The population of Jamner was 349,957 according to the census of 2011. This assembly constituency is a part of Raver parliamentary constituency and the present MLA is a BJP leader Mahajan Girish Dattatray who won 89040 votes by defeating Garud Sanjay Bhaskarrao of Congress who had managed to get 81523 votes.
