Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh

Shri Bhanwar Lal an IAS officer is the Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh. He was born on 25th October, 1957 and hails from Rajasthan. He was an officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre and belonged to the 1983 batch. He holds a masters degree in Economics from the university of Rajasthan and has even pursued MBA. He has occupied many prestigious position throughout his career like being project coordinator at Central Silk Board, commissioner of Civil Supplies, MD of Andhra Pradesh Non Resident Indian Investment Corporation, district Collector of Karimnagar and sub-collector and sub-divisional Magistrate Kandukur.
