Gurez Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency
Gurez is a valley surrounded by snow capped mountains and the place doesn’t have central electricity. The place belongs to Baramulla parliamentary constituency. JKN leader Nazir Ahmad Khan won the constituency in 2008 with 5817 votes against INC leader Faqir Mohd Khan who had managed to get 5085 votes.
