Udhampur Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency
Udhampur belongs to the district with the same name and is the second largest city of Jammu. It was named after Raja Udham Singh and is the army headquarters. The population of the constituency is 1,82,778 according to the census of 2011. It falls under Udhampur parliamentary constituency. The present MLA of the constituency is Balwant Singh Mankotia who won the seat by defeating Pawan Kumar Gupta. He managed to get 25259 votes against 22489 votes.
